The stands of such impressive size as at MEBLE POLSKA can be found only at a few other fairs organized by Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie. Companies rent more and more exhibition space to be able to show thousands of furniture traders from around the world the largest number of new collections possible. So who will have the largest stand this year? Many of the existing exhibitors intend to present at the MEBLE POLSKA Furniture Fair 2017 even a wider range of furniture than ever before, and thus have increased the surface area of their stands. But the leader in terms of the stand size this year is the company that after a few years break returned to Poznań - and they did it in grand style. The Black Red White stand in Hall 3 will occupy 1,300 sqm and it will be the largest exhibition of the Fair. The exhibition by the IMS Group in Hall 8A that traditionally is one of the largest exhibitors at the Furniture Fair in Poznań, will be just slightly smaller. This year, the Forte company advanced to the third place, as they increased the size of their exhibition three times. The stand by this reputable manufacturer will occupy in Poznań as much as 900 sqm of exhibition space. The exhibitions by Szynaka Meble and Fabryka Mebli Wójcik have also been enlarged almost twice, to 500 sqm. Over 300 sqm of exhibition space during the MEBLE POLSKA Furniture Fair 2017 have been rented as well by: Klaster Mebel - Elbląg, Fabryka Mebli Libro, WER-SAL and VERO.
The success of the past edition resulted in the fact that the greatest furniture contracting event in Central and Eastern Europe, MEBLE POLSKA 2017, which will be held in Poznań on March 14-17, enjoys an exceptionally great interest of furniture manufacturers. A number of new companies are interested in participation in the Fair, and some of the existing exhibitors increase the surface area of their stands. Once again, the Fair promises to be record-breaking. - We were expecting a rise in the number of exhibitors and exhibition space enlargement. This year's Fair, which again was visited by thousands of foreign furniture traders, confirmed once again that the MEBLE POLSKA furniture contracting event in Poznań is the most effective tool to promote the export of Polish furniture - says Fair Director, Józef Szyszka. As he points out, many previous editions' exhibitors intend to show at the Fair an even wider range of furniture than ever before. For this purpose, they order larger stands or rent additional closed exhibition space (secret rooms) available only to the selected groups of the most important furniture buyers. For the first time in several years, a large presentation of the offer at the furniture fair in Poznań is prepared by Black Red White – the second largest furniture manufacturer in Poland. One in three visitors from abroad - The Meble Polska Furniture Fair has made incredible progress in recent years. Today it may be compared to any fair event in Western Europe, and it is a presentation of top class Polish furniture industry – said Dieter Hilpert, the owner of the German Bega Group, one of the biggest importers of Polish furniture, in an interview with the MTP trade fair TV. Among more than 20,000 visitors this year, up to 32 percent were guests from abroad – all major purchasing groups from Germany and an extensive representation of furniture chain stores and wholesale distributors from 53 countries. Furniture buyers from the UK were the third most numerous national group after Poles and Germans. What attracts visitors to Poznań? – Polish manufacturers offer the highest world quality, using the latest technology and machinery while remaining very competitive in terms of price. The distance is also of great importance, since when buying furniture in Poland one can afford to order smaller batches and make use of greater flexibility, which is difficult or unprofitable in the case of the purchases from Asian suppliers – explains Józef Szyszka. Sales record This year in Poznań, furniture buyers could make use of an extensive offer of companies from 12 countries, including almost all the leading Polish furniture manufacturers. Judging from the declarations of individual exhibitors, an absolute sales record was set at the Fair. In the opinion of the MEBLE POLSKA Furniture Fair Director, Józef Szyszka, it is a result of the change in the Fair formula, in which top priority has become to provide key traders maximum comfort of participation in the Fair and any possible assistance in organizing their arrival and stay in Poznań. - At the moment, we are reaping the rewards of that strategy. One of the exhibitors told me that on the first day of the MEBLE POLSKA Furniture Fair 2016 he sold two times more than during the entire IMM furniture fair in Cologne. There is no better recommendation – says Józef Szyszka. What are the plans? The Fairs in Poznań continue the proven model of organization of the event while developing its promising new elements. This year, a part of the exhibition was presented in enclosed space (i.e. secret rooms) available solely to key buyers with the largest purchasing budgets. - In the future, we intend to gradually strengthen the contracting nature of our Fair. An important element of the strategy in the upcoming years will be making the rooms and halls available to the exhibitors to organize confidential, dedicated presentations of selected collections for the most important customers - says Józef Szyszka.
Poznań International Fair (MTP) in cooperation with InfoCredit have launched a special online platform, Exhibitor’s Zone – Business Lever. The new electronic service for exhibitors shall facilitate promotional actions. The makers of the Exhibitor’s Zone – Business Lever portal have created a set of modern tools, thanks to which MTP’s clients will have opportunities to present themselves not only in Poznań, but also online. Additionally, they will also be able to search new contractors as well as to check their credibility. Each exhibitor will be able to do it directly with the use of the platform. Data on companies and industry analysis are provided by InfoCredit, Poland’s oldest economic researcher, which is MTP’s partner in the Exhibitor’s Zone – Business Lever project. Thanks to the Exhibitor’s Zone – Business Lever, entrepreneurs have an easy access to information on the ownership structure, financial reports, and indicators analysis of more than 100 million business entities from as many as 21 countries. A quick report analysis provides you with information about whether a company is reliable and its actions are transparent. Moreover, you can use a wide range of recommendations and verified opinions on a particular company, says Tomasz Kobierski, a Vice President of the Board of MTP. In his opinion, the Exhibitor’s Zone – Business Lever portal increases the safety of making business transactions. Today, when Polish companies are searching new target markets and new recipients in the West, which is the result of the embargo on Russia and the conflict in Ukraine, business information is becoming especially important. The West is getting more and more interested in Poland, while Polish companies increase their interest in western companies. At InfoCredit, year by year we have been recording a remarkable increase as far as the number of inquiries concerning the condition of companies in our country is concerned. We have also noted an increase in the number of orders regarding the search for potential recipients of Polish products and services in the whole Europe. What is especially appreciated by many entrepreneurs is a unique possibility of combining information concerning the profile of a contractor’s actions with his financial information, says Jerzy Wonka, the director of development at InfoCredit. Each exhibitor shall receive access to three reports on Polish companies via the Exhibitor’s Zone – Business Lever. Additional reports, if needed, will be available at reasonable prices. Information on how to use the service can be found in the information materials as well as in the Exhibitor’s Zone directly. The Exhibitor’s Zone – Business Lever will greatly facilitate editing catalogue entries. The paper forms will be replaced with their electronic versions, which will speed up the process of filling in and sending them. Each entry made by an exhibitor will be visible in MTP’s catalogues as well as in reports by InfoCredit, which are shared with recipients around the world online. This will give economic information a new quality. The entries will become an international business card and will be downloaded with every report concerning companies presenting themselves in Poznań. This leads to a brand new quality of possibilities connected with product promotion. In order to support fair marketing, the Product Catalogue published online, in both mobile and traditional versions, has been created. The catalogue will make it possible for each exhibitor to promote three products. Product entries are free. With the use of the platform, exhibitors will also get electronic access to a wide range of additional services. It will facilitate browsing through placed and accepted orders as well as make it possible to have a look at the invoices issued. The Exhibitor’s Zone – Business Lever will also be an information service for all interested in main events concerning the Polish economy. Here, you will find the latest business information, coverage of the fair’s following editions, latest products of the companies presenting themselves in Poznań, industrial analysis, and announcements concerning the events organized by MTP. The Exhibitor’s Zone program was already carried out during some chosen fair events last year. Its makers received a number of positive grades and recommendations. Based on these, a new version of the platform was created, the Exhibitor’s Zone – Business Lever, which can already be taken advantage of by 2015 Arena Design, 2015 Furniture Fair Poland, and 2015 Home Décor exhibitors.
